Tips for Administering Herbal Capsules to Your Pet

  1. Cheese Method: Put a small piece of cheddar cheese in the microwave for about 5 seconds to soften. Then, wrap the soft, sticky cheese around the capsules (the cheese will harden and stick to the capsules). Most pets will swallow this easily.
  2. Meatball Trick: Hide the capsule in a small meatball of canned food and hand-feed it as a treat. Be sure to give your pet a meatball without the capsule first to avoid suspicion.
  3. Pill Pockets & Other Covers: Hide the capsule in a pill pocket, a thin slice of lunch meat, or coat it in peanut butter or cream cheese. Always hand-feed for best results.
  4. Mixing with Food or Syringe: Open the capsule and dilute the powder in water. Then, mix it into food or syringe it directly into your pet's mouth (placing it toward the back of the tongue where there are fewer taste buds).
Note: This method is NOT recommended for Skin-eze, as this formula is very bitter.
